No on the carpet, the Golden Hawk headliner might fit a hardtop.

If the '53 Commander is a hardtop (K model) they might fit, be correct? No.

The front carpet would fit in both a 1962 Hawk and a 1953 Commander two-door, correct? Its just the rear carpet that is different (a difference in rear foot wells)?

By two-door, if you mean C/K body and not sedan, maybe, but probably not. The '53 uses wide door sill mouldings and the '62 doesn't, so a '53 carpet may not extend far enough out in the door opening for a '62.

Correct and the early carpet is bound on the edges to fit over the wide sill, not the narow GT. The 53 HT headliner might be the same as a Golded Hawk.
