I was just looking at the production order for my parts car. If I am reading it right the color was listed as Ermine. I have no idea what color that would be. I looked up ermine and it is some kind of weasel.

Any body have a picture of a weasel colored car?

Ermine is Studebaker White or Ermine White. Its the color of the ermine's (weasel's) winter coat. I can't be sure if absolutely available in 61', but it was used up til 64' (then,Astra White). I had 3 Hawks (62, 62, & 63)that color..and it may even be the "true" wheel color...?

Indeed a 61 color.

A very close second to the ermine, is Ford Wimbledon white.

My first car a 1961 Lark VI Regal sedan was Ermine White .... The color on this photo is faded with age, but it was a really nice white.
