Found this on a cool site:

I found it during a search at http://www.archive.org
Do a search under "all media types" and several podcasts come up for downloading..
    Enjoy!

Rich, I suggest try Apple's Quicktime and or the free version of Realplayer. Windows media player should play MP3 files maybe you need the latest version (11). Quicktime is a better option than Realplayer which wants to make itself the default player for everything when you install it, and you have to change the settings. I let each player run it's own stuff, then they're all happy. That is WMP default for Windows Media files Quicktime for Quicktime and Realplayer for their files.
