My mothers' apartment complex had a 4th of July parade around the halls and this is how she decorated her power chair and herself. She had the idea herself and got the activities director to help her with finding the Studebaker logo on the internet and printing it. She did everything else all by herself. She's 91 and loves my car, the 1950 Champion she and my dad bought new in 1949.

I think she's pretty cool. It was quite a surprise to me.

Your mom is so very cool for thinking up such a nice Studebaker suprise for you. My mom drove all the neighborhood kids to school in a black 1950 Studebaker business coupe. The kids stood behind the front seat.

My mom is 92 and was away this week to Canyon B.C. to celebrate the 100th aniversary of the Canyon Park on Canada Day, which was right next door to the farm she grew up on. She had a 50 Studebaker bullet nose too, in which I stood up on the floor behind the seat when we moved from Vancouver to Kelowna in 1961.
You have to love the old Studebaker stories. They seemed to have touched everyone.
