  • Seeking Clock Still

    Hello again

Back with the same request again. I am still looking for that clock, this time I have a picture as well. I missed out on a 61 lark a few weeks ago that was a parts car in Iowa that had the clock[V]But I lived to far away to get it back just for that clock.

And it was just a few days ago that I found one but it was way out of my price range ($125 plus S&H) and I didn't even know if it work.

So now I am back...... just to see if anyone can help me.

Note: This is not my car, but the clock in the center is what I am
looking for to put in my 61' Lark.

Sadly, $100 or so is the going market price on a rare clock like that.

I have a clock out of a '62 that looks like yours. Don't know if it's the same or not and I'm not sure if it runs or not. I just happened to be looking through some other parts last night and came across it. If you can't get yours going, let me know and I'll see if mine runs.

I think both you guys need to forget about the "does it run" thing!
On a clock as rare as these are, it makes NO difference. Anyway none of the electrically wound mechanical Borg clocks ever ran more than 6 months or a year when brand new, and none still do! [xx(]You just put a new quartz movement unit in them anyway![^]

Those clocks are rare as hens teeth, why not find a tach that fits that hole? It would be far more useful.
