Finally got around to cleaning up some of the scrap aluminum pile out back. As I was offloading at the scrapyard I saw this:
It was a contingency sticker from one of the bigger races. The track gives us a packet with a bunch of stickers. Some you're required to display, and some will pay you x-amount above the normal purse if you win or finish in x-position. This was on the lower nose wing and was trashed in a trip over another car's front end
This was before I was into Studes... only just now caught my eye.
Fun fact- This company specializes in performance carburetors. Got the sticker at Oswego Speedway whare they run two classes: One has ultra-strict carb rules, absolutely NO modifications allowed, strictly enforced; the other runs fuel injection exclusively
