He's marketing it to the T-Bird crowd for the bonnet and the bracket...............................................

What about the bird symbol on the McCullough Supercharger tag? Not T-Bird, not Studebaker, but perhaps Kaiser Manhattan???? (54-55) If there is a 6volt solenoid instead of a 12 volt...

The Emblem is the Standard McCullough emblem used on aftermarket units, so no clue as to what make it is for.

I see the serial number on that one starts as "OVS57C". My granddad has the same blower. I did some research and an OVS57C is one that was available from McCullough off the shelf and has a spring rack with 14 springs, versus the usual 12.

At least that's what I was told on the VS57 website long ago.

The nice thing is that these VS57's are for the most part all the same. It's the mounting brackets that determine that they fit.

I just noticed a 'Compatibility' button that says 'Check if this part fits your vehicle (http://javascript<b></b>:;)' . If you click it, it shows 57 GH. It looks just like the one I sold last year for $150- same emblem and everything. (and yes, I kinow that was cheap; but it was stuck, and it went to a member that REALLY needed it). So must be it wasn't originally on a Stude?

At least he let it start at a reasonable opener, we can get to see what it gets bid to...

Here's another one that just came up for comparison. Much more complete, looks like it is a T-Bird setup as it says:
