Would anybody have an extra driver's side trunk hinge for a '50 champion. I sprung mine today and need a replacement. Send me any details at pvarg1@charter.net or let me know where to even look for one. Thanks, Paul

Paul, after you take off the sprung hinge, be careful in inspecting the trunk lid sheet metal. When the force that sprung the hinge happened, it may also have warped the mounting area of the sheet metal, causing the lid to sit too high above the cowl. I had that happen and could not really see the warp damage. Tried all of the factory adjustments and finally took it to a body shop where they found the 'warp'. Took almost nothing to fix it and now it moves and sits great.

Paul,
I got your P.M.
Just a thought, because I know they have them, have you tried StudebakerParts.com in Arizona ?

Also here's a whole page of Vendors you can look over.

I'm still willing to help if no one south of the 49th can get you one.
