                    Hi, Phil,

My first Hawk was a '56 Flight Hawk in those exterior colors. It was a striking looking car. It also gave me a permanent aversion to the Champion six. The Power Hawk was the highest production of all '56 Hawks and one of the best all-around cars Studebaker ever built. Does yours have the overdrive and the 4-bbl, dual exhaust?

                    thnx, jv.

Very nice looking Power Hawk Phil, that Salmon color is not quite as WILD as the '61 Flamingo color, looks great!

Be sure you keep those mud flaps, from what I can tell in your pic, those are NOT aftermarket they look like Studebaker AC3137 White gravel deflector kit. (all Studebaker cars & T cab trucks) -SCORE! [^]
