    Hi John, I have looked through my books and can not place that number. Is it a four or six cylinder? Canadian built 1919 SH four serial numbers were 14092 - 16591. Perhaps you have one number too many in your number? Good luck mate!

      Hey Dave

      I don't think he knows what year it is guessing 1919. Does that number relate to anything in the 20's? He's sure the number is correct.

        No vin numbers that old. Is it a serial number, an engine number or some number on the title/registration?

          There is no engine or title that number is on a tag or plate on the vehicle.

            John, the numbers that I listed earlier are the only close numbers. I checked from 1913 to 1925.

                The serial number in those years was on a tag attached to the left frame rail near the front axle. He might have seen a body number, which may not be of much help for identification.

                  Oooo.....you hijacked someone else's thread. The posting police will get you for that!
                  If you were to ask that question in a new post of its own, I would answer that it's a 259 engine, built for the 1964 model year, on November 7th, 1963 using the new date code numbering system they started for the 1964 model year.
                  3E = 259 truck engine
                  M = November
                  3 = 1963
                  07 = 7th day of the month
                  The only engines I know of that would have numbers before the date code would be export engines. The number would represent the sequential number of engines built for export that day. I find it hard to believe they would have built 56 or more on one day, but maybe so.
