    Got it running and stopping again today. Also finished installing the last of the painted sheet metal. DROVE it over to my home garage where the shiny stuff is waiting to be installed [8D].





    I remembered what a PITA it is to install these vent doors. Like a 3D puzzle. You think you have all dimensions correct, crank down on the bolts, and everything changes . I wonder how they did it at the factory?

    I talked to a guy who used to work on the Studebaker assembly line years ago and he said that they made good use of a rubber mallet!
