I think it is a combo brass knuckle and boomerang that Avanti John uses to protect himself with down under. :D I actually looks like it would be some sort of racheting gear, but I have no idea where it may go or what year. Perhaps in a parking brake handle?

Deal. :D Lets see, at 32 I was unmarried so I can collect Studes to my hearts content! I have a '52 2R10 here just waiting for him. Just needs to bring a trailer, winch and front brake drum and tire to get it loaded up. Sorry, I get to keep the cinder block under it now. [8D]

At times that would be good but at other times I am happy where I am. I do a lot of running and would love to have my abilities back from that age and still be able to hang with the young fast kids. I also wouldn't have these kids buzzing through the house! :D

Next week be OK to pick it up? We have a 16 foot traler with electric winch and a Ch*vy diesel dually to pull it with, as well as a few old drums around...

Is this truck one of those 'big' pickups? Big six of Champion six? I assume the truck's body is all there and rust and dent free too. Not like a truck in that condition's worth anything anyways...

Matt,

This is what is left of a '52 2R10 pickup. It was actually given to me, I have $45 in diesel fuel and 5 hours of my time in it. I sold all 4 fenders at York this year, sold the seat to a 15 year old kid in Va. Beach who was working on a Scotsman and the front drum to a local guy. There are still decent parts on it, but I need the space behind my shed.

I just got a phone call this morning from a local Stude nut. He wanted to inform me that there's a 2R11 in a nearby wrecking yard. I'm gonna go take a look at it tomorrow. Maybe there's something I can use or peddle!;)

Bob,

After you take a look at it and if it is worth anything, you may want to make a post over on the Truck Talk site. I know Michael Webb has a like for the 11's and he is in CA.

So, I'm not the only Scotsman kid around? I'm bought to trade my dump truck to my grandad for his 59 Scotsman.

I don't think it's worth the trip to VA to get it! I would jump on it, but... <g>

BTW, do you know anything about this car or the previous owner? It's a 56 Champion sedan-ette. We bought it off ebay a couple of years ago. It was in VA.

No I don't, and nobody around here can remember. IT was in the summer of '04, as it was delivered to Charlotte, and we trailered it home. Dad bought it and a 64 Commander wagon at the same time. The wagon was from Ohio, and was also delivered to Charlotte. My grandad drove the wagon home with no problems.
