Just listed on e-bay, a pair of 1941 and 1947 M-5 pickups starting at $500 with a reserve and in Texas. One has a decent body but no powertrain, the other has a powertrain but whiskey dings on all corners. Looks like there is enough to make a decent truck.

I saw in his Ad that the 1948 truck was untitled. How would a person go about geting the title for it? Just thinking outloud

Company's like Broadway Title http://www.broadwaytitle.com/ can get one for you (completely legit).

Also, some states aren't very picky on old cars. Check with your DMV.

Randy,

As Dick mentions, there are companies that can help. However, in many states vehicles were not titled at that time. Last year I bought a '61 E-28 grain truck from the original owner in Georgia. He never had a title, I just took a bill of sale and his registration card to DMV and got a Virginia title.

There are also people who have titles and ID's for scrapped vehicles who could help out.

Gary
