I seem to remember someone saying they wanted a '59 2 door hardtop. Well one just popped up on e-bay in Oklahoma with an opening bid of $100 and no reserve.

I also have a 59 HT lark project car, complete, driven in barn in 1978.

I need the 59 like a hole in my head with all my other projects...

First person to show up with some other stude of my liking or cash of what I have in it (about $500) would get it and save me from years of tinkering. At this time however, I cannot offer dilivery (unless its between here and South Bend) or take-now, pay later.

I thought the cars in OK. were not this rusty;) still alot better than the ones I have seen lately. I really wanted a two door sedan or wagon but a hard top will do if it is closer than OK.
contact me off the group and send photos.
I have several people say they have a car but never send a picture...odd.
thanks Rich

Rich,

It might help your search if you give folks a better idea of where you are so that they can determine if they are closer to you than Oklahoma. :)

The main thing that worries me is the fact that you can see the rust-through in the photo. I would be concerned about how much rust and rot you can't easily see. Don't get me wrong. I own a Lark like it, and I love Larks. Also, the fender trim (on the right front fender) is missing. Very difficult stuff to find.

SASCO has those fender mouldings -$45.00 each. The fenders are a lot harder to find though.

SASCO currently has NOS front fender moldings listed on ebay for 59-60 Larks, I just purchased a front left for my Lark $39.95 plus $20.50 S&H
