Not sure about the prewar Presidents, I'll say the 352 Packard engine in the 56 Golden Hawks.

Matthew,
I think that some of the '56 Golden Hawks actually had the 374 CID Packard engine.

Hi, Guido,
The rumor of 1956 Golden Hawks delivered with 374" Packards continues to circulate, but no one to my knowledge has ever substantiated it with factory paperwork.
There were several '56Js raced with the larger engines, and the famous Everett Hatch '56 Clipper ran 374"s, but these were all after-delivery swaps.
thnx, jv.

Probably late '63 for the R3 engine, around the same time they offered the 276 and 288 deg. camshafts. Would be a 156.... part number.

I used to own a Packard Hawk & at that time I also had a letter from the factory dealing with fuel starvation problems under heavy accaleration sent to dealers. The factories answer was use a electric fuel pump that was available by special order;so I would say 1958

Hey JDP. The 1909-1911 Studebaker-Garfords had a 372.1 C.I. four cylinder that produced 40 Hp.
