  • How to Post a Pic in Profile Signature

O.K. I have another pic posting question, I know how to post a pic in a thread, but how do you post a pic in your profile signature, like Dick, Dillo, Matt and others ? I haven't ben able to figure it out, what am I missing?

Go to the "signature" block in your "Profile". Enclose the picture you want in your signiture in the "img" thingys (to copy them, click on "forum code" on the "Profile" page). Be sure to use a very small picture for those dial up forum members. You will most likely have to resize the picture you want to use in your signature.

Hmmm, if I size down the pictures, how many shots of my vehicles can I get in a row across the bottom?

And if you want to have the text out to the side of your picture (good for small width photos, so you don't take up all that extra vertical scroll room) you can use a combination of code and line breaks to format it as I've done below. The code you see gives the image and profile text that you see below it:

Note that I'm using an image of a screen capture, since the forum would otherwise render the code to where you couldn't see what the actual code is:

Thanks DilloCrafter. I was wondering how you do that with the forum's "code."

Hey, this is great, seeing more folks put up pix of their vehicles in their signatures. I always wondered what Stella looked like, having read so much about her. "STELLAAAAA"!

All of the html rules apply to the signature section too, so you can add a picture, a web link, make your font the color, size, and style you want. It may be a bit easier to write your signature here on a regular post so you can preview it easier and make changes. Then just select all and copy it and paste it into your signature box.
                        Hope the info helps...
