Ok, I'm addicted to this forum. I usually find myself checking for new posts about 10-15 times a day (maybe more). It doesn't help that I have internet at my desk at work either. It's a great stress breaker though! :D

Todd part of getting help is admitting you have a problem! Happily, Studebaker addiction is relatively painless and doesn't hurt anyone (at least until a derelict Studebaker displaces the wife's new SUV in the garage).

I check this site maybe once or twice a day just to see what's happening. It's a great resource.

When (if) I'm on 'the boat' almost never, during the week (when I'm at work) two or three times a day, on the weekends way more then that. Between this site, RacingStudebakers, eBay, and the Conestoga site it's easy to loose track really!!!

Maybe twice daily when I'm home. Oftener, if I'm at work, bored, and have an Internet connection.

Every day, twice a day!

Also Conestoga Registry, Studebaker Truck Talk, Studes on Ebay, and random searches for other Stude sites.

Is there a Studebaker Anonymous site for addicts?

Hard to say, but I check the internet maybe a half dozen times during the day. Once I'm in from the garage,I'm on the laptop from maybe 6 PM-1 AM chasing Studebakers, so maybe a few dozen times.

I usually log in about 2 times a day, sometimes 3. I love this site.
I know it's a little early, but I plan to attend the South Bend International meet next year in June. I was curious to know how many of you guys are thinking of attending.
I can't make to the Omaha meet this year.

I've been jumping on between 3 and 5 times a day... but I can feel the pull getting stronger :D

When I bought this car, my wife told me "no clubs and no obsessing over it." Riiiiiiiiiiiight! ;)

Roger, I'm going to make South Bend if they have to exhume me and cart my body there to achieve it. (In a Studebaker Ambulet of course!)[}:)]

Might I add that I love this place (I don't like to point to my being the top poster here, but...). I love trying to help out with Stude problems, Stude parts, Stude addictions, etc., etc., etc..
I don't have all the answers and I'm well aware that some I do present aren't always spot on. But thru 33 years of driving, dissecting and rejuvenating Studes - one's that I'm interested in (which sometimes accounts for my silence on a given topic)- has afforded me some insights into them. Oft times those insights are gained thru my own screw-ups - you know - like when you hit your thumb with a hammer - you learn to avoid doing that in the future.[xx(]
Do I have nothing better to do with my time? Oh baby! Fact is, I should be out on a ladder - right now - before the temp hits the 100+ it's headed for. But the wife knows I'll eventually get that new trellis finished in a day or two. She's given up trying to get me away from the keyboard on her time schedule.[}:)] Hey! What does she want? I finished building a new cage for our doves last week, and I'm sure she thought THAT would never happen![:0] I even put retractable landing gear on it so SHE could move it when SHE wants it moved - instead of coming into the office to bug me to do it.[^]

One of the signs of addiction is building a tolerance for the drug and requiring more and more of it. Are we seeing that here? I check a minimum of 3 times a day. No idea of the maximum, probably 10 or 12.

Not once in the past week since I was feeling the sun on my face and the sand between my toes but, now that I'm back to reality, between three and forty times a day.

More often than I care to admit. Some days 10 or more times, although if things get busy at work (like lately with the heat) I may not check in for several days. Sometimes I have a lot to say, sometimes I just sit back and watch.
