I had NO idea! Look at this article about "Anderson built" Studebakers. Just amazing. Here's the link:

I tried to post a picture of one of them, but it did not work. There are several 1953 types here. One of them is the world's fastest non nitro door car.

Yep, and several of the Aussie racers (as well as salt flats racers, dry lakes racers, drag racers, and even a few road racers) hang out on the Racing Studebaker forum and website over at:
