Headliner bows from Hawk

Can I install the headliner bows from a Hawk in my 53 Starliner hardtop[?]

I bought a set of bows from Jim Heipe for my 65 wagon
and never used them.
if they will work you can have them

I think there is quite a bit of difference in the profiles of those roofs. I'd have to say they might possibly maybe sort-of work, but the length probably wouldn't be right and they would definetly require some reshaping.

You need 53-61 C-K bows to work correctly.

Oh, I was thinking about the Chrome bows that goes over the headliner. Sorry, totally different thing. I still have the original headliner bows with a NOS headliner too...

Hey, Matt

I guess I wasn't too clear in my description. I have the 1953 "inside headliner" bows to install the headliner with. Like you, I was thinking of installing the "outside headliner" chrome bows because I think they look good.

My 53 Starliner is modified, not stock.
