I am interested in the new 15x6 wheels advertised in Turning Wheels, but have a couple of concerns, and would appreciate comments from people who have actually tried them.
1. Will the extra width work on the '53 coupe? (Is there enough clearance and might they stick out far enough to look strange?)
2. Will the '53 full wheel covers lock into place securely on these new rims?
Thanks in advance for any help you could give me on this matter. I could easily spend half of the $48 cost per wheel in cleaning up the old wheels, and then they might not be the best for radial tires.
