What is the 'Cedes doing in there, then? I don't know who Avantibobb is, but selling the cars as one unit seems like it would greatly limit the number of potential buyers that can even meet a decent reserve. Someone with enough moolah probably has many other concerns, and might not even have time to deal with acquiring 25 restored old cars all at once. I would think that the collection would draw more bids and higher prices if the cars were sold individually. But, that is just my guess. If the collection even brought a bid of $625,000, that'd only be about 25,000 a car. Sound right?

I can't believe it's a serious offer. No one seriously offers restored cars as a group (with the exception of a couple of world class "theme based" collections in Europe).

Probably did it to get some cheap advertising...

According to Barrett-Jackson the 53 buick would bring at least 3 million alone. And the rest would probably average 200 each.

Would anyone here like to engage in a "bidding war', until we get the price up around half a million?

Is this auction for real ??? If he put all 25 cars up at Barrett-Jackson, he'd get million$$$$$$$$$ for them. If you had this type of collection, why would you go through Ebay ????

So that after it's a no-sale, he'll have plenty of "BUZZ" goin' for him when the car's show up at a Barret-Jackson shindig.[}]

Of course, his wife coulda given the guy an ultimatum... "It's those damned convertibles or ME, fella! Which is it gonna be???

Also, the seller's feedback is 0. He's new to the whole ebay thing.
