What is the 'Cedes doing in there, then? I don't know who Avantibobb is, but selling the cars as one unit seems like it would greatly limit the number of potential buyers that can even meet a decent reserve. Someone with enough moolah probably has many other concerns, and might not even have time to deal with acquiring 25 restored old cars all at once. I would think that the collection would draw more bids and higher prices if the cars were sold individually. But, that is just my guess. If the collection even brought a bid of $625,000, that'd only be about 25,000 a car. Sound right?

I can't believe it's a serious offer. No one seriously offers restored cars as a group (with the exception of a couple of world class "theme based" collections in Europe).

Probably did it to get some cheap advertising...

According to Barrett-Jackson the 53 buick would bring at least 3 million alone. And the rest would probably average 200 each.

Would anyone here like to engage in a "bidding war', until we get the price up around half a million?:)

Is this auction for real ??? If he put all 25 cars up at Barrett-Jackson, he'd get million$$$$$$$$$ for them. If you had this type of collection, why would you go through Ebay ????

So that after it's a no-sale, he'll have plenty of "BUZZ" goin' for him when the car's show up at a Barret-Jackson shindig.[}:)]

Of course, his wife coulda given the guy an ultimatum... "It's those damned convertibles or ME, fella! Which is it gonna be???:(

Also, the seller's feedback is 0. He's new to the whole ebay thing.
