there is a 1956 Scoctsman Or champion
here in Hobbs NM on a car lot for sale.
it is a 2 dr sedan looks nice , has a good motor & trans
3 speed
he said he wanted 4500.00 for it but i think one could get it for less

No Scotsman for '56, John. A 2-door Champion would be neat tho. Does it have ANY side mouldings to it?

That looks like an interesting Champ, maybe a Deluxe with the side molding (don't know 56's that well). If it has a decent interior and NO structural rust, 4k is not too bad a price. Course you should always try less. I'd start at $2500. Check for rust under the floor boards, at the bottom of the door pillars and in the rocker panels. This would be a neat car to give the full Cathcart treatment to (dual carbs, headers, cam, etc.).

the insides of this champ are teal nice
the body is real good shape
it is a 6cyl 3 speed OD , tires look good
over all a good straigght w/out rust
Iam not buying it or trying, I posted it in case any one might
like to have it
