Now, I don't know about that. Good bulletnose doghouses (front sheet metal assy) are commanding $600 to $900 here in California. And that's without the chrome bullet which is worth another $150 or so by itself.[:0]

Having grown up in Pennsylvania, that car looks eminently restorable to me.

I was mostly taken aback that it sat on its side like that.
A) How did it get that way, and
B) What sort of damage could have been done by getting it upright again?

Everything we do has an element of danger.[}] Certain risks just require more calculation and caution to deal with.[:I]

Kinda like letting me do engine work. I'd say that's pretty dangerous!

Notice how the seller did not show a picture of the driver's side. That's probably because if it sat that way long enough, there IS no driver's side anymore. Just a big hole where it used to be. [:0] This always amuses me on ebay ads. The seller will say a car is wrecked on one side and then not show pictures of that side. How can you make a decision about purchase without seeing it?
Regarding Studegary's comment about tipping parts cars over to work on them: Back about 1980 I happened to luck out and find a junkyard full of 40s and 50s cars and the owner, though no longer in business and semi-retired, let me in to look at them. Most were upright but every Studebaker he had was tipped up on its side. He explained that years ago some guy came around and wanted to buy all the overdrive transmissions he could find.
