  • Speaking of Golden Hawks

I'll be listing a 58 on ebay for a friend in few days. Feel free to pick at it so I can point out any defects.

"Pick at it?" That's like asking the rooster where the egg came from!

EXTREMELY nice if not perfect example of the classic!

If I didn't have my Avvanti, I'd strongly consider it...

Looks like Arizona or New Mexico. No tin worms there.

Small ding in radiator top tank. This will really take the value down. You'd better sell it to me cheap, John, and avoid the embarasement of an eBay sale

I'm not sure about the interior treatment. I'm no expert on 58 Golden Hawks and wonder if it's correct.

I didn't look at all of the pictures, let alone study them. I only see very minor things like the battery, battery cables and the label on the supercharger. I also believe that the TT emblem is placed at the incorrect angle. Compared to the Salesman's Data Book for 1958, the seats appear to be in the correct style/configuration. Remember that in 1958, Silver Hawks and Golden Hawks had entirely different seat upholstery, including the way the cloth and vinyl is divided. All-in-all, maybe the best 1958 Golden Hawk that I have seen since the '60s.
