Lots of wagons out here in the rust belt and most of them can be restored for about 5 times the cost of shipping in a rust free example.

E-mailed the seller of the 63... says he only wants to sell locally- doesn't want to be bothered with helping a shipper load the car- just wants to be paid and be done with it...[?]

                Couple questions:

                1. Does anyone have a recommendation for a shipper that will load a non-running car; and any idea how much to ship to NY or Northeast?

                2. Anyone near Whittier CA who would be willing to oversee the transaction (willing to pay you) i.e. help the shipper load it, maybe look it over a little?

I realize making this happen is a real LONG shot; but I like the car, and the price is currently cheap; so......

I live in the northeast, NJ, and had 2 cars shipped by Fed Ex Transport service, yes they deliver cars too. Had 1 shipped from Ohio and the other from Pa. Was very pleased with the service. Had the same driver, Andy. Was flexible with pick up and delivery. I'd use them again. Give them a call for a quote and compare. Its enclosed delivery also. Good luck.
