Hi guys,

I'm having no luck sourcing an air cleaner for my Lark. It's got a WCFB 4-bbl on it. Anyone got one to sell?

Thanks,

If You don't have to have an original one ...59-66 Chevys ones are much easier to find....and cheaper to.

I had to make mine- never found one- i had the original but it was badly rusted. cut the botto out only good part and grafted it to a two barell cleaner. those are harder and harder to find.

Funny story about Chevy air cleaners. A guy at a Studebaker meet asks where a Studebaker guy got his new 2 barrel air cleaner for his 65 Studebaker. It seems the AC cleaner was used on 60's Chevy's and are worth big bucks. The Chevy guy calls SASSCO and buys a NOS one and brags to a Chevy vendor about the bargain $130 price. The vendor calls SASCO and gets the retail quote of $130 and asks how many they have, Dennis says "about 100 or so". The guy says "I'll take all you have, Dennis does a little happy dance and ships them out.:)

BTW, I checked ebay for WCFB air cleaner and they are not the place to buy them for a Studebaker.

If you have a good FLAPS or speed shop nearby you should be able to get an adapter to put a universal air cleaner on the smaller WCFB throat, if you are not concerned about originality.
