To all Forum Members:
Only last week, I decided to get serious about my 1961 Lark Regal Cruiser. Despite being a Stude owner since 1989 and an SDC member off and on since that time as well as having a dad who owned a 62 GT Hawk, 2 trucks, and the 59 while I was growing up, I have never really taken my car or interest seriously. I went to the International Meet in Spokane and there I picked up the 61 intending to use it for parts to redo the 59. Then I came home and the excitement wore off [:I]. Prompted by my wife to actually do something with the cars (neither was driveable), I got involved in this forum. I have found a buyer for the 59 so that I can finance some of the repairs on the 61 and I have also found a spot on the net where I feel welcomed and encouraged to ask questions.
Thanks to all who have helped rekindle my passion for Studes.
I look forward to meeting many of you in person at different events and I am already making plans to be at South Bend in 2007. Someday I hope to make it to York as well.
Again, thanks for all the help - happy motoring.[8D]
