What do you think of this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Studebaker-President-Speedster-1955-Studebaker-Speedster-Lemon-Lime_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6466QQitemZ180096287563QQrdZ1

I remember when this was on Ebay a while back. Looks like a decent deal to me.

The description says it has a metal dash? It doesn't show a picture of the dash.

This is a good example of a cost up front project versus a $900.00 project and cost down the road. I see a great start and quick driver at the expense of some poor soul who ran out of time and money. Some see way to much money up front and believe they can do it cheaper. I believe the paint,body,re-chroming and engine rebuild is way over the opening bid. Now saying all this, I am not recommending THIS CAR. I know only what I see. I would go to Vegas and look first. Just wanted to show an example of a cost up front car vs a cost/time down the road approach. Good Luck.

Just taking a long shot here, but isn't this one the topic of this thread? There was some questionable items/areas and if it was truly
was what it was......

Just wanted to add that I know nothing about speedsters or this car. Just was making a point of buying cars that have begun restoration vs ones that have not. I would fly out and look before I spent this kind of money.
