Who knows... But I sure could use some stuff off of it if it wasn't so beat up. [}] However, it would make a nice piece of yard art. [^]

The piece on top sure looks like the original factory short-wave antenna.

Biggs, you're sick.......but then anyone who is involved with Stoodies has a certain sickness--just ask my wife. Seriously though, look at what's sitting on that car's hood--it last raced at the "Brickyard" so we should all feel honored instead of complaining about the car's racing history and abuse. What a cool car with that kind of race history.[8D][8D][8D]

No offence, but my grandpa is a brick mason so at an early age I learned the difference between a 'brick' and a 'block'. That thing on the hood is a concrete block, not a brick. So this car obviously didn't race in Indianapolis. [V]
I hate to think it, but this could have been a package car. [] A friend of mine, told me that back in the early 70's, he went to a junk yark and literally cut up a 63 Lark that had "a buncha weird stuff under the hood",[:0] it also had a 4 speed. The blower ended up on his 59 Hawk, while he trashed the rest and the tranny was stolen from him. If he'd a only known, there might be another R2 Daytona runnin around... Oh yeah, he recalls that the car was also complete too. But he turned out ok, and is one of the best Stude mechanics in Florida. He even owns my car's twin, a fresh barn car. He also has an all original 38 Commander. Whick is here: http://community.webshots.com/photo/...74401068UNkLZo And check out his yard art! []
