1939 Champion Hood Latch & trim

Help:

I am missing a 1939 Champion hood latch and two of the 4 stainless trim pieces for the hood. (top stainless is 48 1/2" long, middle stainless is 46 1/2" long.) Any help or leads would be appreciated.

Paul,

I was attempting to make a deal to pick up a pair of hulks; a '39 Champion 4 door, and a '40 Champion 2 door. Not much left of either, but there was/is some brightwork on the '39. They are sitting in a storage yard in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

If I can get hold of them, there will be parts for sale. I looked at some pics I took, and the hood is missing all the horizontal trim strips. The center molding and bullnose ornament are there, and the latch might be there.

I'll try to make contact with the owner of the cars, and see if he will sell them at a price that's worth my while. There really isn't much left of them, though.
