  • Unknown Model?

    Hi All,

I believe there was a model with a sliding soft top which slid from the winshield all the way back to the trunk and included the rear window. Can anyone tell me the model and year(s)? However, I may have just seen a convertible with all the windows rolled up. Thanks!

You saw a convert. Studebaker did make a Skytop with a canvas sky roof, but it was a smaller opening.

Maybe you are remembering a 1950 Rambler American convertible. They had precisely the set-up you describe. Clark Kent sometimes drove one! Look at this site, about 4th car down:

Kaiser also had a similar system.
