This seems to be a common mistake.

The gentleman's name is Raymond LOEWY.

Loewy Studios designed a Coke dispenser, not the Coke bottle.

I think I read on some site about Loewy that he was commissioned once to redesign the Coke bottle. I couldn't tell much difference before and after, but I guess they wanted an updated look.
