2bl vs 4bl Carb

I have to replace the 2bl Strom on my '62 Cruiser with 259..the throttle shaft is wore and the inlet fitting is stripped...the car is running single exhaust and I'm not planning on duals...is it worth the trouble to go with one of the 4 barrel intake kits? Anybody have a good used 2bl Strom for sale...really just need the body...

Yep,I have several,but there probaly all just cores that need re-buildind.
I took them off running cars,but they wern't running to well or I probaly wouldn't have.
T-Bow gives 50. for a core so I gues you can have one of mine for that.
Which model is your Stromberg,I think I have a 1406,and others.
