  • Lark Transmission interchange???

I have a question. I have a Canadian Stude 170 powered 64 Lark six with the model 35 Aluminum tranny. Will a 65-66 model 35 trans intended for a Canadian built six with the McKinnion 194 fit? Part number of the 65-66 trans is 1565206. I don't have a 64 parts catalog to compare. Are mountings the same? If there is a difference, what is it?

    Thanks

the throttle pressure linkage was deleted on later models.. The later trans is controlled by a cable would need to be changed or modified somehow to fit your 64 engine. This needs to be precise or the trans will self destruct.

With some work, it may work. Just dont drive it much until it is working well, because to wrong throttle pressure = slippage.
