Wish I could be there to run my 63 Lark. I have one more race here in No Calif.to end our season on Sept. 25th.I'm in a dog fight for the point standings. Have 2nd place pretty much sewed up. Have a chance at first if I don't mess it up @ the lights again. The Lark does great. I'm the weak link. Good luck to all the Stude drivers & keep us posted.

Placerville played a big role in the history of Studebaker. Any monuments there to that affect?Brad Johnson,

I don't know about plaques, but SDC recently made a contribution to the Placerville museum for the preservation of the Studebaker wheelbarrow that they have.Gary L.

Short report.
Weather limited the timing runs to 2 hours on Friday, and Saturday moning. They elimintated the shootouts, just paired cars by ET and ran 'em off.
Studebakers shone, Doug Tchalcas (or however it's spelled) blew an engine in a run.
Hopefully a more complete report will follow, wait for Bob Palma.
