  • 1963 Lark 4 door 6 cyl 3sp with OD

I bought this 63 Lark 4 door 3 sp with OD a little over a year ago just for the AC stuff and back blinds. It has come time to take the stuff off and sell the rest of the car. It came out of TX (east of Dallas I think). Floors are ok, but I can see some holes in the front floor boards. Body is pretty solid with minor scrapes that have surface rust. Also a little bubbling on the drivers front fender, but not bad yet. I know nuthing of the engine except it might have a stuck valve. I didnt get a title with it, but I did get a lot of paper work for getting one (just have to find it). For the moment, its in North Central Florida, but will soon go to Tallahassee FL for a vacation. Pictures are at this site if interested.

I saw that forlorn 63 Daytona you have at George's. A shame indeed... [V]

Is that one considered a hardtop, i.e., having a stiffer frame? Or is it only the 2-doors that have that beefier frame under them?

Dillo, look closely at TX5. That side photo shows clearly that this car has window frames and a centre post. Therefore it isn't a hardtop. Just a four-door sedan...

                Hey VWand, How much?[:0]

I take it that if you are using the car to go on vacation, it runs, has good brakes etc...

                Lotsa Larks!

Thanks, Studeclunker. I just don't know all that much about the Larks, so I'm learning.

As for his price, look closely at TX13

What I really should ask is "What trim level is that car"?

                    Thanks.

Well, my '63 wagon and a two-door discussed on this forum have the butterknife trim. So since this one doesn't, I would guess it to be a delux? The only way we can know is if Biggs or some other expert IDs the vehicle. Or if the owner sees fit to publish the ID and VIN numbers.

Ok, the sign in the trunk says $1500. You mentioned that the reason for buying the car was the AC and the window blinds. Is that all you're removing VWandSTUDEBAKER?

You certainly have the pictures for a e-bay sale. Helloooo...[:0] are you out there? <tink> <tink> <tink> (knocks on the other side of the monitor screen) Are you there VWandSTUDEBAKER?
