OK guys on my 47 14a-C3 i dont have my book in front of me but i think they made about 2700-2800 of my model total including out of country & LA plant. [u]Whats an educated guess </u>on how many are still around? Out of all my Studes i've owned this one just really gets my wheels turning because i've yet to find anyone else that has one. It's kind of fun thinking it may be the only one still in existence but i know that's probably not the case.

    My Studes:
    1.1947 Commander 14A-C3
2.1948 Champion 2 door sedan (parts car)
    3.1948 Champion 2 door sedan
    4.1950 Champion 2 door sedan
    5.1959 Lark 2 door post
    6.1964 Stude challenger 2 door

i read in hemmings once about a formula for how many likely survive after so many years and so many produced but i dont remember the formula. Is there a way to check a national database for registered ones?

Search the SDC Membership Roster listing and then double the number for the best estimate that I could come up with.

Sounds like a plan Gary. I'll give it a shot and see what happens.
