Shop manual say to replace with new pall nuts
not the expence, but finding them is the hard part.
small price to pay I guess anybody ever reuse them?
    Thanks

also all the nuts on the pin pinch bolt ended up onthe drivers side of the piston Is that correct
    Thanks again

I've reused them, and more than once left them off without a problem. The shop manual tells you how to install the pistons and the rods and I'm too lazy to make a garage run to read mine. <g>.

Palnuts - personally, I don't bother with them. Other engines get by without them![:0]

All the pinch bolt nuts DO end up on the driver's side of each rod.

      Miscreant at large.
