I take it that this was a big swap meet? A car show? Or both?

If yes, do they have something like this in the Midwest, say like around Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, and if so when?

Also, where would I look to find such information as this, so I don't have to be buggin you guys about it?

Thanks in advance,

Karl

It would be found in Turning Wheels you get each month with membership in the SDC.
I believe the next large swap meet is in South Bend first weekend in May.
Ebon...
Nice GT, Looks a lot like the one I drove to Omaha.

Sanks for all the info, guys. Since I just joined up, I don't suppose I'll be getting my Turning Wheels copy until next month.

Wow, so I gotta wait until September ehh? Wait a min...there's one in South Bend in May? That's not too far away, timewise OR distance wise.

Ok, I'll just wait until the magazine arrives and then go from there. Thanks again,
(So, there's another black GT Hawk in Omaha like mine, ehh?) I found another one for sale on Ebay, too. The silly thing about this, is when I was checking around on Studebaker availability, there were hardly any Hawks of any vintage to be had. Now, they're popping up all over.

York is a swap meet that is put on by the Keystone Chapter of SDC. They have been doing this for many years. I have been going to it since the early 80s. I just returned and will post pictures.

Any chapter could sponsor an event like this.
