OWNERS MANUALS NOT THE SAME?

DWAINE SAID ALL STUDES FROM 53 TO 61 WERE ALL THE SAME.
PAGE 18 OF 1995 OCTOBER ISSUE OF TURNING WHEELS SHOWS A 1958 OWNERS MANUAL......ARE THEY ALL THE SAME JUST DIFFERENT FRONT COVERS??
EVEN IF THEY ARE THE SAME INSIDE....THE FRONT COVER IS WHATS IMPORTANT. TO MATCH THE VEHICLE.

I haven't looked at your reference yet but I do know there were different owners manuals printed for domestic and export.

Ha-ha! Here's what I wrote:
"From 1955 to 1961 all car models shared the same owner's manual".
To explain it better, each year did have it's own unique owner's manual, but it was written for the entire car line, sedans, wagons, Hawks. The 1962-64 GT Hawks did get their very own manual as did the Avantis.
Prior to 1955 there were dedicated manuals for each model, Champion, Commander, Land Cruiser, etc.

I know there were also supplements printed for individual models, such as a single page insert for the '55 Speedster dash, and I believe there were separate ones for '63 & earlier convertibles describing the top operation.
