salvage yard find

[60 Hawk]

Wandered through a salvage yesterday and found four Studes, three with motors. Two OHV sixes and a flathead six. Bodys were gone beyond repair and the OHVs were missing parts, like the carbs and the distributors. Been open to the elements, although they all had hoods.
If anyone is interested they are in Cagle's salvage just south of Muskogee, Oklahoma. I didn't ask what he wanted for them, but will if anyones interested.

The OHV heads might be worth saving. That head design was prone to developing cracks if the engines were mistreated by overheating. It's already tough to find an OHV6 head that's worth having. That said, they're not a "big money" item.[|)]
