Flat black is really starting to show up everywhere.[8D] Looks like the SDC is no exception.[]

Thanks, Rich! Talk about inspiration, I had already decided to use Shop Line white epoxy primer as the color for my low buck '62 project and now I feel even better about it! I've had a few flat black cars, so I decided to change it up a little. Wish I had some nice original looking paint like this one, but primer will have to do. I'll let the next guy worry about paint, unless I keep it.[8D]

Skinny, may I suggest Fleet Farm Implement Enamel? It's primer and paint all in one!

Interesting suggestion, but I need something that will look OK as is and I can still do finish work over later if I need to. In all seriousness though, have you seen some of the low buck roller paint jobs being done? Just shows what some reducer, patients and wet sanding can do.[8D]

Just now saw this. I looked at that car at SB, really sharp[8D] I remember thinking all it needs is the saggy, tired springs replaced
