  • Who is coming, and what are ya' bringing?

Small survey: Who all is coming to South Bend this weekend and what car(s) are you bringing[?] I'm not after the trailer of parts, strictly the show car(s). I will be a judge for the car show, and I'm just getting curious about what kind of turnout there will be[?]
    Thanks.

    Chris Dresbach. South Bend, In.

Parts of the 1952 Model N prototype.

After replacing every seal in my power steering pump yesterday and finally adjusting the dwell and ignition timing today, I hope to be driving my '63 Hawk there. I won't be entering it for judging though as it isn't worthy of that.

I won't be going to the show, but I wish to applaude the young folks for getting involved. Especially in judging.
I tried to get my children and grandchildren into judging car shows early on (Mostly because I didn't want to do it)My grandson has become a very good judge, but I was afraid I was in trouble when my daughter was judging a general car show. She came to me with a problem. She said:"Daddy, I can't find this car I'm supposed to judge. It says 73 NOVASS, I don't know what that is."
I looked at her judging sheet and read 73 Nova SS.

Can I enter my blue truck in the judging??? It's very original, correct, and in great condition. It's a Studebaker, says so right on the tailgate...

I will be there with 3 cars (I hope) rain or shine but mainly drivers rather than show cars. I cant explain how great it feels to see and drive Studes around So Bend but it is important to me since it has been a lifestyle for many years. I will be joining the Michiana Chapter while I am there and planning to help with 2012 Natl Meet if they need me. The last car of mine to be to be shown at this meet was my 18k mile Rambler Scrambler after it was taken out if the Stude Natl Museum used for Muscle Car exibit, we got an unexpected 2nd place trophy and happy for it!Cant wait till thurs! thats when will are planning to get there .
