  • "Double After Dinner Mint"

Peg and I went to our Chapter's monthly meeting today. It was held at the Aspen Flying Club. Here is our Packard Hawk with a Jet:

But wait!!!! What would be better than one Packard Hawk?

The second Hawk is owned by a new member, Lee Thomas. He likes his cars! He has a bunch including a 58 Packard Station Wagon!

We had a nice turn out today. Here are the rest of my pictures:

With the fins, long nose and windshield slope there seems to be a family resemblance,

I'd like to see a video of the Hawks flapping their tailfins and flying away alongside the jet.

Wish I had the cash for the Lear! The wind was blowing hard enough earlier that the Hawks didn't need to flap their wings!

I love those cars but just as a joke:

It looks like two catfish homing in on some green go fast dough bait!

Great pictures and thanks for posting them.

Would the cash for the Lear purchase all the known Packard Hawks in existence [?]

                      John,
I would be disowned from my family if I sold mine! So I would say "No!"

                      Don,
That shot came from the suggestion of Lori, "lotsalarks" / Starlightstudebaker.com. She was standing back there and called me over and said that would make a great shot. She was right!

I may be a little eccentric, but: I always loved those Packard Hawks! ... and I am UNANIMOUS in that!

                              Dean,

I keep teasing my wife about the Catfish look of our car. I want to make some whiskers that I can attatch to the bumpers with a magnet while at shows and cruises![8D]
