  • IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!

I took delivery of this LS1 over two years ago in it's original crate.

We fired it up for the first time today []. WOW

It's muscular sounding but quiet. Kinda like Chuck Norris. Capable of whippin a** but gentle enough not to.

It runs so smooth, I could balance a nickle on its edge on it while it's running. [:0]

That engine should serve you well into the future. I for one will be waiting for the day you get out for the maiden trip, with a camera on the bumper [8D]. Keep at it, summers almost here.

Cool beans![8D] Um... what's an LS1? It doesn't quite look... Studebaker. The aircleaner is definately in an... odd position. Looks almost like someone wanted to rig it for an air scoop through the bullet-nose, which would be kinda cool. Impossible what with the radiator in the way, but what the heck?

Well, the engine looks super, Jon. How does the rest of the car look so far? You know me, insatiable appetite for pictures of other people's cars.[)]

thanks anyway George, but Bess has more than enough pep for me. Besides, I'd better spend the money on paint before any mods like that.
