      Dave,

I wish I would of know you were going to day, I would have liked to have gone as well. Maybe next year Sheba and "Crimson Tide" (my restored/ modified Avanti) can attend the show together with us.

I had planned to go just so i could look at all the goodies for sale, but came down with a runny nose and stuffed head. Still dont feel as good as i'd like, but a little better. I remember H,TSOBIN and would have said it if i could have gone.

Hm. I've been here too long: except for thinking "N" meant "Nasty" (in a good way of course!), I "got" H, TSOBIN immediately...[]

Dave L. - I vote for your no. 4 "solution". The "leave it alone part". I can't believe that it is really "going downhill" that bad. Do you want to ship the car to me?

Dave, sorry to hear of the chip on the hood, believe me when I say that if paint chips cause you grief, you do not want painted bumpers [:0]

Thanks for posting pictures of that black 53, it gives me a perspective of what mine might look like with that type of wheel. Very pretty car.

StudeDude - Down here in south Florida we have Love Bugs. When they are in season they can coat your car and ruin the paint. I have found that the easiest way to get rid of them is with moisture. I wet several old towels and lay them on the affected area. I keep wetting them for hours. This loosens the goop they leave behind and I can usually wipe about 95 percent of it right off. The rest comes off easily with a cleaner / wax.

That's about the best job of updating the rear of those trucks I've ever seen! To me the craftmanship is impressive, but even more impressive is the ability to visualize mods that will really look right once executed

I can do all the things with metal and paint- that's the easy part. The trick is building a car and not ending up with an oddball that, once completed, makes you frown every time you look at it[xx(] For sure, it happens...

I bet that truck functions perfectly in every way. That's the kind of gift that separates the Fooses from the home shed builders
