Nice little car, Dave. 'Doesn't sound like anything is wrong that a little dicker'n with it won't fix. [8D]BP

I like those 64's with the single headlamps.

Man, that thing looks almost like an NOS Studebaker!

                I notice it's a Hamilton car.

                What's its story?!

Yes Bill, with the Bone colored wheel it appears to be, but I thought they all had Studebaker of Canada Clock hole covers! [:0]

Maybe they did not start using them until '65 but you would think they already had them for the early '64's sold in Canada, but with all of the South Bend Parts returning to Hamilton maybe it was hit and miss.

Kinda like my Dad's '64 Daytona HT "Import" with U.S. outside door handles on one side and Canadian on the other, also the U.S. 1/4 window bottom rubber "sweep" on one side and Canadian Cat Whisker on the other. [:0]
I had the Dealer fix both. [^]

Every Canadian built '63 and '64/'66 I've seen with the clock blank always read "Studebaker of Canada". 'Course that does not mean they never used the other type of blank.

best kinda car Studebaker put out: bare bones Lark....! gotta love em'..that said, keep filling your tank to "full". You might get the gas gage to read close to the top. I'd suggest you pull the speedo cable soon and oil it with correct lube. You will need to oil the back of the speedo unit itself too...For the dash lights, there's a dimmer switch below and to the left of the steering post...over by the hood release lever. A little round grooved knob (vertical). Wind it back and forth with the "Inst Lights" rocker switch in the "mid" position. Maybe it will work off the corrosion along the windings....plenty of them around....After you get those few little things done, and since you've easily made that 100+ mile trip with little difficulty..
I'll send you directions to my house here in Mass for your delivery....say...sometime next week....? HA !

                          Nice, very, very nice![^][8D]

I'd go one step further than Jack did and suggest you pull that speedo cable immediately! Hopefully, it hasn't been damaged. Just pull it out and lube it.

Ah... just to have one, just one car that looks as good as yours...[] I'm green with envy.[)]
