I was looking at the dual carb setup on the 55 Champion to see if they might be causing the surge I am getting when at cruise speed and noticed the fuel pump had oil on it. Apparently oil is coming out thru the pump at a pretty fair rate. This pump has only been run a few miles and was a new one that Cathcart installed when he built the engine. Do I need to chuck it and get a new one? chuck it and install an electric one? or ??
