'54 Commander Upholstery

My '54 Starlight Coupe will be getting a new interior soon. I am having a difficult time deciding whether to do an accurate restoration or possibly an updated interior. Any thoughts or pics would greatly appreciated.
Exterior colors will be left original, Safford Cream and Ontario Blue.

A truly accurate interior can run two grand not counting labor.
Weigh your options.

Since you are keeping the paint origianl, I would definitely keep the interior original. I tend to like '54's better than '53's because of their nicer interiors that year.
